Sabah Environmental Trust has carried out a 2nd mangrove replanting activity in Kota Marudu on 29th April 2025 as part of the Student Empowerment Climate Action (SECA) Phase 2 Program. Twenty high school students from SMK Bengkongan and SMK Kota Marudu took part in the program.
A total of 50 students from five high schools in Kota Marudu had participated in this mangroves replanting and monitoring efforts. The activity aims to nurture attitudes on climate change among coastal rural secondary school students as active citizen via nursery monitoring.
